Yoga with Julia this Summer!

It’s with great pleasure we invite you to come together to practice Yoga with Julia, taught by a Sigtuna Alumni!

  • One class will last 75 minutes
  • 15 minutes of the class will be dedicated to winding down, guaranteeing restoration and an environment of calmness pre yoga and post yoga practice.
  • The class will be held on zoom in English.

Julia Jönsson graduated from Sigtuna in 2009 and after working in the international luxury field for several years, it is through practicing and learning about yoga that this became her true calling. Graduating in September from the London based Triyoga Studio, one of the most highly regarded, comprehensive and rigorous teacher training programs in Europe. Through that training she brings her passion, dedication and nurturing attentiveness to her classes, where you can practice from the comfort of your home.

The method, in which the classes are taught, focus on alignment, precise instruction and accessibility. The classes are less focused on acrobatic postures as an end in themselves, but emphasize on becoming engaged, attentive and integrated by exploring breath, body and mind. It is not so much what it looks like on the outside, but what it feels like on the inside. 

The classes are open to all levels from complete beginners to the more experienced as the teacher adapts the class according to the students. Julia believes yoga is for everyone and everybody, regardless of age, ethnicity, size, gender, fitness or lifestyle and aims to build a welcoming community. 

We, together with Julia, offer the first 50 students a free class as she wishes to create an environment of inclusivity. For everyone else who did not manage to book the first 50 places, we got you covered! We are reserving a special code to book on Julia’s website for private and group classes.
